第16屆中國電影華鼎獎頒獎典禮５月31日在香港舉行，該獎是所謂的「觀眾口碑獎」，雖公信力令人質疑，但趙薇仍憑《親愛的》奪得影后殊榮，繼香港金像獎後，她已憑該片獲得６座后冠。雖高圓圓影后落馬，但老公趙又廷憑《痞子英雄：黎明升起》榮登影帝寶座。
華鼎獎規定「不到場就不頒獎」，此次卻為趙又廷破例，趙日前因拍盧貝松電影《勇士之門》受傷，他透過錄好的影片答謝觀眾肯定，並為無法到場致歉。《親愛的》則是昨晚大贏家，除影后趙薇及「最佳影片」外，導演陳可辛也獲「最佳導演」。
